Peter provides tax and consulting services to high net worth individuals and business clients in a variety of industries. He was admitted as a shareholder of KHA in November of 2012 when the firm he founded in Denton in 2005 was merged into the organization.
Peter has a broad educational and business background. After being awarded a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, he spent almost ten years in the sales arm of the IBM Company. Peter then followed his entrepreneurial upbringing with about six years as the general manager and sole shareholder of a vertically integrated agricultural manufacturing and warehousing concern. Upon the sale of that business to a Fortune 500 company, he returned to UT-Austin and was awarded the Master in Professional Accounting degree in 2003. After a time at Deloitte and Touche, LLP, he founded a local public accounting firm in Denton in 2005.
Peter passed the CPA exam on his first sitting, was licensed in 2004, and was honored with a Top Ten award signifying one of the ten best scores on the CPA exam in the state that year. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of CPAs, and is a 2007 graduate of the Leadership Denton program.
